How it works (Step-by-Step guide)
Step 1: Add Offers to your Account
- Once you've downloaded "Clip the Deal" ("CTD") and completed registration, open the CTD app to begin.
- Log in using your information.
- Find offers! On Home, you can browse through all deals customized by your interests at some of your favorite retailers.
- Click on the "+" sign on the deals you like to add it to your list of Clipped Deals. This addition is mandatory to use a deal and get discount / cashback.
- The more offers you add, the more cash you can get back!
[Tip: Offers expire so don't forget to redeem them before they're gone!]
Step 2: Go Shopping
Selected products will be added to your My Clipped Deals list. Buy these items at over 500 retailer stores which are supported by CTD app. Some offers are retailer exclusive, so be sure to check Deal Details prior to shopping.

Step 3: Redeem
CTD users receive credit for eligible and successful redemptions within 2 working days of scanning a receipt. Depending on the retailer, there are two ways to redeem deals:
1. Manual Receipt Submission:
- Tap "Redeem" button on the Home Page or in the Menu and select the appropriate Retailer.
- Take clear photos of your receipt and select any eligible offers. Please ensure that the whole receipt is scanned including retailer name, store name, receipt no. and date/time.
- For long receipts, please select "Add Section" option after the initial click. This re-opens the camera to help you take the picture of the remaining part of the receipt.
- You can check the status of your submitted receipt in Settings & Support section under "My Submitted Receipts".
- [Tip: Be sure to have clear, legible image of the receipt scanned. You may break the long receipt into different sections and upload together in parts and our technology will help put it together.]
2. Preferred Partner Submission:
- With specific Partner retailers, users can get instant cash discounts as follow:
- Tap "Redeem" button on the Home Page or in the Menu and select the appropriate Partner Retailer (depicted by "barcode" image next to them).
- Clicking on the retailer name generates a unique code which can be presented to the cashier who will scan it to their system and discounts will be applied immediately to your Bill Amount.
- Currently our Preferred Partner retailer is Choithrams.
- In case you forget to get instant discount at our Partner Retailer, you can still scan the receipt back to us using Step 1 above and you will get cashback within 2 working days.
Step 4: Refer & Earn, Loyalty and Contests
CTD gives you numerous ways in which to enhance your savings and earn more through the usage of the app.
- Refer & Earn: As a user, you can refer your friends through 'Refer & Earn' screen and earn for every friend who joins the platform and uses his first coupon
- Loyalty: We love to reward our Loyal users. For every coupon you use with us, you have an additional loyalty reward which you can track through the Loyalty bar at the bottom of the Home Screen.
- Contests & Rewards: CTD runs regular Contests for its users with attractive rewards like Travel prizes, gift vouchers, movie tickets and cashback credits. Details for the same are notified to users through notifications, pop-ups and can be referred to later in the notification center.
Step 5: Earn Cash!
The best part about CTD is that you earn real money, not points or other made-up currencies. What you see is what you get! To withdraw cash from your account:
- Click on Menu and "My Wallet". This shows the Amount in Wallet and your entire Wallet Transaction history
- Click on "Withdraw Money from Wallet" button below the Wallet Balance
- You will get option to withdraw as:
- Mobile Credits to Etisalat/Du
- Bank Transfer to any UAE Bank account
- All withdrawal requests are processed from our side within 2 working days. In case of Bank Transfer, please allow for 4 working days for credit to your account so as to allow the banks time to process the transfer.
